How to get there by car

You can get to Leukerbad when you use the highway

Bern-Vevey-Sion-Susten.

 

You can also get there by Bern - Kandersteg -

Goppenstein (Car-Train)- Gampel - Susten.

 

From the east you can use the Furkapass in

summertime, in winter use the cartrain

of Car-Train der Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn.

How to get on the Gemmi from Kandersteg

Use the cable-car from Kandersteg on to Sunnbüel.

From there take a pleasant 2 ½ hours stroll along Daubensee direction Gemmipass.

By train

 

Most of the trains-on the Brig-Sion / Sion-Brig line SBB

stop at Leuk-Susten. From this point on there's a regular busservice to Leukerbad.
