"THE HOT SPOT GEMMI"

A viewing platform between sky and earth. It is situated directly at the terrace of the mountain lodge and restaurant Wildstrubel.

From here rises the trapezoidal, filigree steel construction about 33 feet above the cliffs. The 20 square meter gallery offers space for over a dozen visitors at once.

The walk to the front part of the platform surely needs a little courage. In fact:  the footbridge consists of a grating, through which visitors can look over 250 meters into the depth.

Anyone who ventures on the platform will be rewarded with a unique view down and to the Alps in front. From here you will have an incredible view to Matterhorn and Dufourspitze, as to the town Leukerbad 920 meters below.
