A diverse network of bike trails and cycling routes winds through the alpine mountain landscape around Leukerbad. And after a day of biking, head to the Panorama Spa on the Gemmi or the thermal springs in Leukerbad to unwind.
From easy trails to challenging all-mountain and enduro routes, there’s something for every cycling enthusiast. The trail network around Leukerbad underwent a comprehensive upgrade in 2021.
«Gemmi Gspass» Bike Trail
Mountain bike «Gemmi Gspass» Bike Trail
This easy bike route starts at the Gemmi Cable Car mountain station. From there, you’ll ride leisurely along a gravel path past Lake Daubensee to Schwarenbach. The route continues across Spitellmatte to the Sunnbüehlbahn mountain station near Kandersteg. If you’d like, you can extend the route all the way down to Kandersteg via the freeride trail.
