Confident walking on winter terrain, which may be icy
The Gemmi is one of the most spectacular habitats of the bearded vulture. From Base Camp Gemmi, spend three days exploring the alpine plateau with wildlife photographer Hansruedi Weyrich, immersing yourself in nature and bird photography.
The focus is on birds in flight, composition, camera settings and different shooting techniques. The small group gives you personal guidance and valuable practical tips.
We spend as much time outdoors as possible to make the most of the light and respond flexibly to weather and wildlife.
Illustrated talks, individual image reviews and personal exchange complement the photography outings. Your base camp is Gemmi Lodge 2350, with comfortable accommodation and a panoramic restaurant.
