This classic winter hike runs from the Gemmi to Sunnbüel, above Kandersteg. The route winds through snow-covered expanses and the impressive high-mountain landscape. It can be hiked in either direction. Those starting from Sunnbüel will reach the Gemmi in time for a lunch break at the Panorama Restaurant. The return trip is easy, via the Gemmi Railway and public transportation.
